40 year-old Jose Guadalupe from Guanajuato, Mexico enjoys a free meal outside of "Casa Migrante", an immigrant shelter managed by a group of Catholic nuns that provides free meals to the thousands of immigrants and deportees that attempt to cross into the United States each year. Jose was deported over a year ago when he was detained in San Diego while walking on the street - because he wasn't able to provide an ID, he was deported. He has made multiple attempts to cross to reunite himself with his family but has not been able to cross. Because he already stayed four nights in this immigrant shelter, he is occasionally forced to sleep on the street since employment in the region is scarce. ..Increased use of motion sensors, thermal cameras and unmanned drones have made it much harder for would-be migrants to enter certain sections of the border that separates Mexico from the United States...Tecate, Baja California, Mexico - February 7, 2013.
