A young boy attempts to make a positive identification on  one of the latest homicide victims to wash up on the shores of the Qweiq river - he will be buried in a shallow grave next to this recreation area...Cobbler's Park, a children's park in the Bustan Al-Qasr neighborhood of Aleppo under Free Syria Army control, has been renamed "Martyr's Park", since the revolution arrived in Aleppo in July of 2012.  A patch of dirt that lies next to children's swings, slides and monkey bars now serves as this neighborhood's makeshift cemetery. On January 29, 2011, 110 bodies floated down a water canal (which is part of the river Qweiq) that separates this rebel-controlled area from the regime side on the opposite side of the canal. Many of the showed signs of torture and most where executed with their hands bound behind their backs. In the weeks after this incident, dozens more bodies have been discovered in the canal - many of the victims that have not been claimed by family members have been buried here.
