On March 15, dozens of residents from the Bustan Al-Qasr neighborhood of Aleppo participate on a Friday protest to mark the two-year anniversary of the Syrian revolution. Protests are kept small in number and are organized in several neighborhoods of the city. The rationale is that a larger, massive protest is more likely to come under mortar or aircraft attacks (as they have in the past). Two years into the conflict, fractures and fissures between the Free Syria Army umbrella are starting to become apparent. Along the same lines, civilians are also beginning to complain openly (as they did through chants in this particular protest) about certain groups of fighters amongst the larger Free Syria Army coalition. On this day, a commander of a local Free Syria Army group was accused of corruption - it ended with a fist fight and a speech by this commander - the protest was dissolved and the crowd dispersed.
