On June 27, 2004, thousands of concerned citizens, victims of crime and a unified Mexico marched through Reforma, one of Mexico City's main roads towards the main Square (Zocalo) in downtown Mexico City. The reason? A growing wave of organized crime has plagued the city and the country as a whole, affecting every aspect of daily life. A country under siege, a country paralyzed by its own inability to fight it's own socio-economic ills. ..Mexico City. 06/27/04.
