A Free Syrian Army bread shop produces bread for hundreds of residents in an FSA-controlled district of Aleppo City in northern Syria. Several of these FSA-run bread shops provide the basic staple food for most residents in these neighborhoods as the price of basic goods has skyrocketed in the past few weeks of fighting. Many residents and shop owners say that business has dropped around 70% as thousands of residents have left the city in the wake of the fighting. Bread shops such as these have been targeted by bombing and artillery shelling by regime forces. ..Photo: © Javier Manzano
